ski feast

what is it

  • Ski FEAST is a year round nordic ski club.

  • It’s affiliated with U.S. Ski & Snowboard as well as the Rocky Mountain Nordic division.

  • This program is for individuals looking to train and compete at a higher level in Nordic skiing beyond the high school season.

  • If participants are not interested in the triathlon component of FEAST, this is the program for you.

what we do

  • Training plans are emailed out on a weekly basis.

    • Practice days of the week alternate on a weekly basis with Tri FEAST.

    • For example, one week Ski FEAST practice will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The following week they will be Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

  • Three (3) practices per week:

    • Two roller ski practices

    • One day of strength, running, hill bounding, hiking, paddle boarding or other fun outdoor activities.

    • There is no attendance requirement. You just have to communicate missed practices with Coach Kyle in advance. Ultimately, you’ll get out what you put in with this program.

  • Practice times:

    • Usually around 5:45 - 7:45 pm for weekday practices.

    • When we train on Sundays, it will be a morning practice.

    • Saturdays are always off (except when we’re at camps or races)

  • Training camps (during the summer/fall and ski season)
